Welcome to Telford And Wrekin Parent Carers Forum

Telford and Wrekin Council For Voluntary Service are working together with Telford & Wrekin Council to develop an inclusive forum for parents/carers who reside in the Borough Of Telford & Wrekin or who access services in the Borough of Telford &Wrekin.

One of the main aims of the forum is for parents and carers to have a strong voice withinTelford and Wrekin and to help shape the future of children and young peoples services.

A meeting of parents who share views, expertise, knowledge and ideas. Parents from the forum our involved in consultations/questionnaires with Telford & Wrekin Council. Parents may also be invited to sit on steering groups or a panel with professionals delivering services to help with the decision making.

The forum is open to all parents who live within the Telford and Wrekin area or whose children access services within Telford and Wrekin. It is open to parents/carers of children under 19 (25 for children with a disability who use children's services).

We are aware of how busy parents are and participants can be involved as much or as little as time allows. If it is difficult for you to attend in person you can elect to be involved in different ways, for example, via postal or telephone consultations.
